Support Mana Ellu for women by providing water facility

Mana Ellu is a home for women in peddapuram running by a NGO Bhadyatha. One of the person from Bhadyatha team has found an old lady in a miserable situation at old bus-stand. Immediately he admitted her in govt hospital. After that also he taken care daily but unfortunately he lost her. While he is doing so he formed a bond with the rest of them who were there. Continuously bhadyatha team found many people with same financial condition. Most of them are orphans and few of them are not taking care by their children. Finally bhadyatha team decided to create a home as a family. They have contacted friends, colleagues, neighbors and got some funds. Finally they started a new home in the name of MANA ELLU for women in peddapuram as a project under Bhadyatha. Bhadyatha is a NGO which was established by same group of people. In Mana Ellu there are 2 portions. Each portion capacity is 25 people. As of now 12 people are staying in home and 5 to 8 people are stuck at their houses due to covid19. Those 5 to 8 people will join in home once lock down ends or 15 days home quarantine completed. With available facilities they have arranged everything but there is no water facility. We mean they have motor but not have any water tanks to store and also no taps in washrooms. So every time they need to carry water in buckets and will use it whenever needed. We can imagine how difficult for them to carry in that old age. So Bhadyatha team is looking for funds to provide proper water facility.

PCT’s Impact: We are really worried once we heard about this. We requested our team to verify as soon as possible and provide all details. Our team members Pavan kumar and Apparao went to home and confirmed that above information is true. They told that Its very helpful to them if we fulfilled. Few are very aged and not able to hold the buckets with water. There is a chance to slip also at nights if they want to go washroom. So please plan to fulfill asap.

Verification on 20th Aug:

Our team members Pavan kumar and Apparao went to home for verification. They visited home and verified water facility in home, washrooms and how they are storing water in buckets for next day purpose. They confirmed that whatever bhadyatha team shared with PCT is true and try to fulfill asap. Bhadyatha team told that we need tap in each washroom, 1 tab connection in kitchen and 2 tap connects at entrance. Please find the home pics below.
